Beginner. I know the Persian alphabet already, which I guess is similar (though I need to practice that too first)
I want to be able to carry out every day conversations and I am willing to sacrifice bit of time, 3-4 hours weekly for lessons and then practice by myself.

I would like to learn to speak Kurdish so as to be able to communicate more effectively with my long term boyfriend's family who are Kurdish speaking. I am a complete beginner but am very eager to learn. I would like to learn the basics and build my vocabulary enough to hold a general conversation. I am looking for a teacher who can teach me how to pronounce and understand the language so that I can build up my confidence in Kurdish conversations .
