I have just returned from 2 months in Nepal to visit friends and only know a few words in Nepali. I am returning next year and would like to be able to talk to them in Nepali (even though most of them speak to me in English).
Wh en I say Nepali words they sound right to me but my friends disagree, so my teacher needs to have patience.

I aim to learn Nepali as I am going to complete a 4 month University practical placement in Kathmandu and I would like to be able to communicate the basics in the native tongue.
I am a beginner and have only studied the very basics online and on language apps.
