I studied abroad in Brazil for six months in 2006, and now, four years later, have forgotten how to speak proper Portuguese. I recently made a few Brazilian friends and could barely communicate!
I would like to regain my previous level of Portuguese, which was high-intermed iate/advanced. My grammar is generally OK, and I can read a novel just fine, but my conversation and pronounciatio n are pretty weak and I need to be reminded of vocabulary about 25% of the time.
I hope to take a 1.5 hour lesson per week at a coffee shop or cafe, preferably in the evening (M-Sat) or on Sunday afternoon. I'm willing to pay about 3,500 yen per lesson and negotiate transportatio n.
As far as a teacher goes, I am quite flexible. I just need a good blend of focused practice and free conversation to get back to where I was.

I would like to learn Brazilian Portuguese.
I am a bossanova singer so I can read Portuguese but I don't understand the meaning of everything. I can't speak Portuguese at all. I'm going to Brazil next year so I would like to be able to communicate with the people there naturally.
I would like to learn to grammar and build up my vocabulary.
