My names Joanne and I am 26 year old female. I have just spent 6 months travelling India and learning Hindi. I took as many opportunities when I was there in that I was taking Hindi lessons and speaking to as many local people as possible. However I would still say I am a definite beginner. I absolutely love this language and love India so stopping is not an option and been fluent is a MUST!
I would like to dedicate as much time as possible to learning this language and would be willing to travel, and have more than 1 lesson a week.
I would like a teacher who is patient and knows how to explain grammar as this is the area I would like to work with.

I'm learning a foreign language for general knowledge and i'm attracted to the language itself. I watch hindi movies, listen to hindi songs and recite prayers in the language but have no knowledge of it. I would like to learn how speak/convers e in the language rather than reading or writing. I can spend about 2 hours a week for this. My teacher must have good communication skills and must be able to understand and guide me.
