Assalamualaiku m wr wb....I am a Muallaf and am learning Islam religion. I would like to be able to read and write Arabic firstly and mainly for my religious learning. Apart from that I would also love to read and write in Arabic for daily use (wherever possible) as well as for career advancement and in future use (for Ummrah visitation in the near future). As I am a working single mother, I would only be able to learn after working hours and during the weekends, and because I have kids to take care and errands to run, therefore the most appropriate means at this point in time is by way of audio and online, and perhaps with learning kits for online and/or long distance mature students. What is most important here is for me to excel in learning Arabic so that I am able to learn and read the Quran fluently. The qualities I seek in a teacher would be someone who is willing to teach me patiently to help me reach my dream as well as someone who is understanding in my priorities in my learning Arabic. Other than that, someone who shares common interest and who is able to laugh and smile underneath all seriouness of teaching! Thank you very much.
