I want to learn Persian as I have to travel in Iran extensively for work and it will definitely help if I understand the language well. Iran has a rich culture also so learning the language will give me access to literature, culture etc, which will result in my personal evolution also. I am a beginner only and do not know anything of the language presently. Since I am working, I can give it 1-2 hours everyday. The teacher should be well versed in the language and should have love for teaching.

I am at a fairly advanced level of farsi and was a student of it a few years ago and would like to maintain and expand my vocabulary with soap operas, movies, articles, stories and conversation. I could look at spending 2 to 6 hours a week of instruction.
