i can speak and understand basic cantonese and would like to become fluent. I need to improve my conversation and am less interested (at least now) in reading/writi ng. This is for my 4yr old daughter, who speaks English fluently at home with me, and a little Cantonese with her father. She has spent 2 years in a Chinese day-care center and thus been exposed to more Chinese language, but it has unfortunately been mixed between Cantonese, Mandarin and Fukienese, so she is less than fluent. I am looking for an intensive summer session of lessons to get her up to speed in Cantonese, so that she will have an easier time communicating with the native speaking Cantonese children in the community.
