I am currently enrolled in an online university to learn Chinese; however, I live in a small town and don't really have anyone to practice with or use what I learn. I hope to one day be able to interpret, so I would appreciate a teacher who helps me with my listening/spe aking and pronunciation . I am somewhere in the (beginner) intermediate range.
Because I am working and studying at the same time, my schedule varies from week to week, so it would be great if my teacher is flexible with the schedule. I would like to start off with one hour lessons once a week.

I would like a tout for Mandarin Chinese for my 3 kids ages 5, 8, and 11 and also myself age 39. My daughter, the 5 year old, was adopted from China. Chinese was her first language though at this point she does not remember much. I would like to have us all learn Chinese to keep her culture alive. So I am looking for a family group lesson geared for children.

My brother (10) and I would like to learn Mandarin in order to better communicate with a large part of the world's population. We have no current knowledge of Mandarin, but we'd like to excel as far as we can. Since I am 18 and may learn faster, we may have to eventually split the lessons up, but at least in the beginning, we would like to take lessons together. Once a week lessons, for maybe an hour would be good; or whatever else is recommended by the teacher. Someone who is comfortable working with our age differences would be preferable and who could give us homework or materials to practice with.
