own a high quality preschool in Marietta. We are interested in offering an age appropriate class for the Chinese Language in our preschool for children ages 3, 4, and 5 years. We are looking for an instructor who could come to our preschool in Marietta for one morning each week and teach multiple classes of 20 young children Mandarin Chinese. Ideally, this person has worked with very young children of this age before so they are well versed in how to deal with very young children. This would be a very basic class. We have 6 classes of 20 children each, and I envision the instructor spending 20 to 25 minutes in each class, or a total of about 2 1/2 to 3 hours each week in our preschool.

Hello,
I just returned from Taiwan where I lived with my husband for a year and a half. We lived in Chiayi County, in Puhzih City. Very few people in Puzih speak English so I was very motivated to learn Chinese. I taught conversationa l English at a H.S. there and loved it. The students and other teachers all wanted to teach me Chinese as well. I studied Mandarin Chinese for a year utilizing the bo po mo fo system with a private tutor for about 1.5 hours per week provided by my husband's company- GE. I was able to understand basic conversation and ask and answer simple questions before we moved back to the states. I would very much like to continue studying Chinese. I need improvement in all alspects including conversation and sentence structure. I have the second half of the book she used and am continueing studying on my own, but I miss conversing in Chinese.
