I'd like to learn Chinese because I believe it to be an interesting language and a powerful asset to have. I am a beginner. I would like to dedicate as much time (outside of work) as possible to master the language as quickly as possible. Good morning,
I am a beginner Chinese-Manda rin student who has been studying the language for the past 6-months. I am currently using the following methods:
1 ) Rosetta Stone - Chinese Mandarin
2) Various books/textboo ks/newspapers/ learning aids (e.g. flash cards - such as the 'Chinese in a Flash' product)
3) Classroom study
Howe ver, I believe that studying with a tutor who is fluent in Mandarin will significantly accelerate my ability to learn the language.
Please find below some additional description information:
- Proficiency level: Beginner
- Areas in which I need improvement: Speaking/conv ersation, reading, writing, listening
- Time available to dedicate to lessons: 1-2 hours a week
- Qualities looking for in the lessons: Emphasis on conversation (listening & speaking)
