I spent a year living in the Netherlands in 2005. I would like to build upon the foundations built there, as I followed a conversationa l Dutch course, as well as daily interactions with the native speakers. I have a dream to return to NL and work in my field, but first I need a firmer grasp of the language. I am seeking a teacher/tutor who could work with me on grammar, accent and vocabulary.

I am an undergraduate student in Boston. I am moving to Holland in June. So right now i'm looking for a dutch tutor, so I can prepare before i leave. Right now my dutch is still at a very basic help, so if anyone would be interested in tutoring me, it would help me out so much.

During the past two years, I have spent half my time in the
Netherla nds with my partner. He speaks excellent American
Eng lish, so we can communicate. However, as we have a committed relationship and I am very happy in Amsterdam, I
feel it is time for me to learn his language and the language of his beautiful country. I do not expect to become
fluen t, as Dutch is a difficult language for English speakers, but I want to be able to converse with his friends,
mak e my way around in the native language, and learn more
about the culture of the Netherlands through the language.
I am a complete beginner. I am looking for a tutor who is
patient, gentle, helpful in conversation and pronunciation
rather than perfect grammar, and can educate me in cultural
sla ng and chat-ability. I especially want to learn the
'Amsterd am Dutch', as that is where my partner lives.
