I have been studying arabic for 1 year and a half at Northwestern University. I would really like to improve my skills and I feel that a private tutor would be a great, great help to me, in addition to my classes at school. I studied Egyptian Arabic for one semester in college but have since forgotten most of it, so I would consider myself a beginner. My father is Egyptian and I have always wanted to learn the language, which is why I wish to study it now. I am currently a graduate student at Northwestern University and have a lot of time to devote to studying the language. I would prefer to have a mix of in-person meetings with some reinforcement over email (assignments, etc.). I have a car so can travel in the Chicago area.

I am a beginner in both Arabic and Mandarin. I have studied neither before but have a great desire to learn as much as I can in a few months. I recently graduated from a top-tier university and am currently seeking employment overseas (in either the Middle East or Asia). As a result, I have the motivation to learn these languages and a lot of free time in which to do so.
I am looking for a teacher who can teach me quickly, effectively, and conveniently. Since I only have a few months, I also would prefer someone who is able to dedicate more than just one or two hours a week to me. Finally, it would be nice to have a native speaker as a teacher, for accent coaching, but it is not necessary.
