I have been taking French for 6 years, and I am currently in French V AP in my senior year in High School. I have a French pen pal who I have maintained contact with for almost a year so far, and I have another french-speaki ng friend in Morocco. I have always been around languages, as my babysitters spoke Spanish to me when I was little and my mother is a Opera Singer so I got to listen to her learn and sing many different languages. I first travelled abroad to Germany and Czechoslovaki a when I was 7. I lived in Bulgaria and the Czech Republic for 7 1/2 weeks the summer before my freshman year, and I also travelled to Italy for 2 weeks the following summer, and I have always found that I have a knack and a passion for languages.
French has completely enraptured me; every facet of the language and the culture is inspiring and fascinating to me. It is my goal to become fluent in French and potentially live there for a few years after college.
I am looking for a tutor to help me prepare for my AP test in May, and to help me towards my goal of fluency. I am looking for someone fairly close to me, though I am willing to drive to meet my teacher.

Hello! My husband and I are seriously interested in learning to speak French fluently. I am able to speak enough to get by in travel (my mother is a native speaker), and my husband has learned some French as well. We have a young son just learning his first words, whom we also want to learn French. (We intend for him to attend a French school).
W e are looking for a teacher who can teach us to speak in real life situations (i.e. 'Please sit down and eat your dinner', ect.), help us to improve our vocabulary and grammar. We would be available for one hour lessons each week and are prepared to study and practice daily between lessons.
W e are anxious to get started!

I have had one semester of French in college and I just got back from France recently. I learn languages rather quickly. My sister just married a French man and I also plan to study there so I want to get my profiency level up as quickly as possible. I need help in sentence construction conversationa lly and grammatically . I can spend a few hours a week on lessons. I'm looking for a language teacher that can adapt to my level and recognize my strengths and weaknesses.
