Description	I would like to learn Latin or Greek because I am studying Philosophy. It seems very beneficial to learn these languages for studying the classics, both for the mind in general and for a more holistic understanding of the writings. It is a dream of mine to read Plato in the original Greek. I have basically no knowledge of either of these languages, aside from the technical terms I have learned within Philosophy classes. Face-to-face contact with the teacher is a must, as learning seldom used languages (in our area at least) online seems like a waste of time. I do not have particular qualities that I seek in a teacher, but some knowledge of classical Philosophy of course would be desirable. From what I know most Latin teachers give St. Augustine, Thomas Aquinas, and other philosophical ly relevant texts to learn from. Otherwise the teacher is the teacher and the student must not demand too much, or else the teacher's job becomes harder.
