Absolutely a beginner but am very eager to learn the Hindi and some day Punjabi languages.
I want to learn Hindi and Punjabi for two reasons. One I work in an environment where the quantitiy of Indian colleagues is increasing and the culture fascinates me. Two, I have met someone who is from Northern India and we are becoming fast friends. I would like to be able to communicate with him in Hindi (and eventually Punjabi).
At this point in time I am focusing on conversationa l learning only.
At least an hour a day - more on the weekends.

I know no hindi but I want to learn enough to beable to travel and do work in india occasionally. I am looking for someone who can provide help and is very patient . I am willing to dedicate 3 hours a week.
