I took 4 semesters of Modern Standard Arabic in college. That was a few years ago now and I hardly remember any of it, but I would like to go back to it. My current proficiency level is beginner. I love languages. I want to focus on Arabic now because I think fluency will greatly help my job prospects in the future. I need improvement in all the areas of the language. The area that I think will present the greatest challenge to me is pronunciation . I would like to start by meeting with a tutor for one hour per week and having homework to do for the rest of the week. Depending on cost and availability, I would love to be able to increase the lessons to twice per week. I´m looking for a teacher who is a native speaker, available to teach in the evening, and who can integrate all four aspects of language learning (reading, writing, speaking, listening) into the lessons.

My name is Fernando Aguilar and I am a beginer at learning Arabic.I am learning this langiage because most of the people that I am in contact with speak the language and I want to travle to the middle east to do volunteer work with the peace corps.
