Dear prospective teacher(s),
I am interested in receiving private tutoring lessons in Arabic (modern standard). Although I have lived in the Middle East for a couple of years, my arabic is mostly colloquial, and as I am a graduate student, having a mastery of the Arabic language is a requirement for my degree. I am using Georgetown University Press's Al-Kitaab series.
I would like a teacher who can truly explain the language, as understanding grammatical concepts and structures is extremely important to me. A native speaker is essential.

I am trying to learn Arabic. I have completed my first year, but over the summer I want to increase my proficiency, as well as my conversationa l ability. I also need help in grammar. I am interested in a tutor for my children ages, 12, 10, and 8. We do not speak Arabic in the home very much and I want them to improve their speaking abilities as well as reading and writing. My oldest has the best understanding of the language but definately needs to learn proper grammer usage. Realistically , I know that little review will be done outside of the tutoring session; so, I would like someone to come twice a week.
