I would be a beginner to any foreign language. I only speak english. I am interested in learning chinese, and arabic for future intelligence position with the government. I need to learn these languages from the start. I will dedicate as much time as i have to mastering the language. My teacher needs to be familiar with the culture of the language as well.

I am basically just wanting to learn a few languages, first choices would be Spanish, French, and Arabic. I am a beginner, knowing very little or none of either language. I want to learn foriegn language because I like to be able to understand people from other countries and also because I run into foriegn speaking customers in my line of work. It would be nice to be able to communicate with them. I would be able to dedicate a few to several hours a week to learning a language. At this time, I don't know what I am looking for exactly in an teacher, but I tend to learn best in a 'hands on' environment. Tend to need a bit of structure when learning. WILLING TO TRAVEL...Look ing at either Minneapolis or Chicago, but prefer Rochester, MN.
