My Name is Kristen Paxton, I'm 16, homeschooled, and adore asian cultures. I want to learn not only Japanese but also Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese.
I'm going to say that I'm pretty much a beginner, I know a few words and small phrases however I do not know any of the hiragana, katakana or Kanji which I want to learn as well. I want to learn not only the language but the history and everything I can about the culture.
I 'm learning Japanese because I've been interested in Japan since I was a child. Different cultures and languages interest me but the Japanese moreso than any other. I'm hoping one day to go live in Japan possibly as a translator or a psychologist.
I honestly need improvement in everything grammar, conversation, ect. I want to spend as much time as I can on my language studies I can be quite flexible with hours and times that I can study at.
I need a teacher that can help me understand in a way that is simple and easy for me to get but make it interesting and fun. I'm more of a visual learner and its easier if I have someone I can ask and talk to and make sure I'm doing things right.

My name is Celeste S. I want to learn Japanese. It has always been a favorite culture of mine. When I do get out of school and get a good job, I would love to go to Japan. I am currently at a begginer level. I have many books so that I could teach myself, but I found out that that is very hard. I need help in just about everything. Reading, writing, grammar, just remembering, etc. I would dedicate as much time as I could in the lessons as long as it doesn't interfere with school or family. Qualities I'm looking for in a teacher would be just for the teacher to be nice and would love to help me learn as much as I possibly can.
