I want to learn about how to speak Japanese because I have always wanted to go and vist Japan ever since I first started to watch anime in the 3rd grade. I am now in the 8th grade. My proficiency level in Japanese is beginner, but I have learned some words from watching anime. The particular area I need improvement in is pronuctionati on. Since I only have a month and some days left till school I would like to put in alot of hours to learn Japanese. The qualities I am looking for in the lesson is to make it fun, but also serious and the qualities I'm looking for in the teacher is to teach me the best she can.

I am an investment professional and have travelled extensively throughout Asia. I have visited Seoul and would like to work there someday in the financial industry. My proficiency level is that of a beginner but I am motivated to learn Korean and have the discipline to make substantial progress in a short time. I have taught myself the Korean alphabet. I can dedicate 5-7 hours a week studying but will do more if that is what it takes to learn the language well enough to conduct business. I would like a teacher that has a well thought out plan for teaching me and can also instruct me on cultural issues of importance in Korea that will assist me when I travel and live there.

Hello, I am a beginning level student wishing to learn Korean to benfit my career. I work for a Korean company and therefore interact with many Koreans. Learning Korean will allow me to overcome some of the communication barriers which often exist. I will still be working full time and I often travel so my studies will need to flexible enough to work around some of this. I need improvment in all areas of the language, but the verbal conversation skills will have the most immediate impact on my job. I am looking for an instructor who preferably is Korean or speaks the language natively, but this is not an absolute requirement. I will also be submitting the cost of this class for reimbursment from my employer, and therefor will need to gain approval of any associated fees and costs before agreeing to begin. I am interested in learning Korean. I only took one class which went over the basics, reading and writing. However,now I want to take it a little further and learn more vocabulary and grammar. I would dedicate about 5-10 hours weekly to learn. Lastly, the qualities I'm looking for in a teacher, is for them to be able to explain things thoroughly and be good at teaching in general.
