Description	Hi, I am interested in learning Norwegian mainly for reading, and secondly for an upcoming (but no date) trip to Norway. I have been studying on my own for several months and am fairly satisfied with my progress, such as it is. I am retired so I have a fair amount of time. I am no stranger to language learning as I worked some 40 years as a translator of German and Spanish. I also read French, Portuguese and some Italian. In high school I studied Russian but did not continue with it. I also studied Latin at one point. I am comfortable with some grammar in my studies. I am interested in having good pronunciation and understanding spoken Norwegian so I would like to have some real contact with a teacher. Cultural information on Norway would also be interesting.
