Hello, My name is Joshua and I wish to learn Farsi. I plan to visit a very close friend within the year and I cannot speak her language. I am complete infant when it comes to Farsi and I would want this to be a very immersing experience not only for communication but also culture and other aspects. I need improvement in every area. I would like to engage in the above foreign languages in order to further my career and potentially take up residence in another country.
I am a beginner in these languages, however I have completed the foreign language requirement for my undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice so I fully understand the dedication and consistency that is required in order to successfully learn and master a foreign language.
I would like to start off my lessons on a part time basis if further time between my schedule and the teacher permits. I am a single mom, who works full time and is in the process of finishing up my Master's Degree on a part time basis through online classes. Please do not mistake the busyness of my lifestyle as a hinderance. While I plan to further my career with the study of these languages I also have a personal interest in learning them. I do have flexibility with my job and I am willing to travel as well to make time for these lessons.
I am looking for a teacher who just as much dedication in teaching the language as I have in learning the language. Someone that will have the patience when is necessary, but will push me when it applies.
