I would really like to learn Polish because I want to go on a vacation to Poland by the time I turn 21. I am a beginner at the language and have no experience in speaking it. I would like to learn the common words to get me by while out their. I would like to take classes mostly on Saturdays and Sundays. It would really help if the teacher is Polish.

My husband is Polish and I would like to learn Polish to communicate with his family and friends. I am at a beginners level - I can carry on some basic conversation but I would still need an overview of grammar and of course conversation and vocabulary. I recently completed Pimsleur's beginners polish and am now doing Michel Thomas's Polish foundation course. However, I feel I have more time now than I will in the coming years and so would really like to get a solid foundation of Polish and think I need personal or small group lessons to achieve that goal. I can dedicate 2 hours a week to class time (in one session). I'm looking for a patient native Polish speaker and other than that, have no concrete specification s.

I travel to Poland annually for business and would like to improve my Polish. Proficiency level: beginner - intermediate (6 weeks at Berlitz in 2003). I need to improve my grammar and conversationa l skills, etc. As far as time dedicated to Polish lessons, I would like to devote an hour a day to them. Any teacher willing to work on conversationa l skills to be used in real life situations would be great.
