I guess I dont know any Polish right now, other than from memorizing songs. And I am self learning the language using books and these songs but I think I could benefit from some kind of teaching. I am studying this language to use casually right now,and hope to travel to poland at some point in time so it would be ideal to know how to say somethings, but I dont want to sound like a tourist you know? Right now, I have some grammar knowledge but its grammar, could always use some help with grammar. I really only have mornings that I would be able to say for sure that I can spend time learning polish, but you know as I got more involved with the language I'm sure it will begin to occupy more of my time. I'm kind of a language nerd, so I would really only look for the most authentic lessons or teachings as possible.

I am a beginner. I have studied French when I was at the U of MN, but speaking it I am quite shy and uncomfortable .
We had a Portuguese foreign exchange student in 2001-2002 and we have traveled to Portugal several times and plan to continue going there. It is important to our relationship with Maria and her family to at least try to speak their language.
I would like to learn conversationa l Portuguese and be able to read it somewhat.
I would like to meet once a week or perhaps every other week. My husband would like to learn too, but he travels and his schedule is unpredictable .
I would like an instructor that is patient and willing to start slow until my confidence builds with the language
