Description |
I am a beginner. I would like to learn Portuguese (not Brazilian Portuguese) in order to better communicate with my future in-laws who are native speakers. Conversationa l Portuguese would be the best to start with, I think. I would like to dedicate a few hours a week in the evenings to language classes.

Description |
I'm a beginner and currently learning Portuguese through some teach-yoursel f books and with the help of a friend. Ideally I'd like to be able to speak it so as to prepare myself for a trip to Brazil or, in the future, to go on a study abroad program. Grammar and conjugations are probably the two most difficult parts of learning for me--as well as pronunciation as I haven't got a clear idea of how to pronounce what I have learned. At least once or twice a week and I'd like lessons that don't necessarily have a set pace. Some things can be rushed if understood easily and others taken with care and not pushed to learn it if having difficulty.
