Dear Sir/Ma'am, I am am adult (New Orleans) who would be interested in having a tutor assist me in learning basic Russian. I have some knowledge (1-yr. High School Russian) I aquired many years ago, but need to start learning the basics again.
I have always been interested in the Russian language and would like to learn it as a personal goal. I have recently attempted to self-teach with tapes, books, DVDs, etc. but realize that I may need a teacher to converse with. I would be interested in lessons maybe 2 - 4 times a month, but this is just a suggestion. Thank you.

I have traveled in Russian-speak ing countries Latvia, Belarus, and Ukraine and have only basic knowledge of the language. I am taking Russian at Tulane University and am in my third semester. I am looking into getting a tutor once a week for about an hour mainly to speak Russian with and correct me. I would like to work on my accent as well as my grammar. We don't speak very much in my Russian class, so I am slow at speaking and need the practice. Thank you for your help.
