I am primarily interested in learning modern standard arabic. I have some interest in colloquial dialects of North Africa and the Persian Gulf (Bahrain, Oman, UAE). My motivation for learning the language is mostly that I simply like the language, but also for use during travel, and possibly in my career. I am looking for a lesson of about one hour a week. Major goals right now are improving grammar and building vocabulary. I can already communicate some basic ideas, but I am something of a beginner.

I am a former student of Modern Standard Arabic. I am facilitating an Arabic study group of beginners. We all would like to learn MSA from a beginners level. We are willing to study up to 2 hours per week on this language. I work in customer service and encounter speakers of Arabic ogten enough that I feel it would be helpful in my profession to learn to speak/write MSA. We are looking for a native speaker or a graduate student of Arabic to be our teacher. There are 3 in my group including myself.
