Due to the nature of my job, I travel a lot to european countries and in due time, I will be travelling to spain for about three months, I will like to be able to communicate in the language while living there. I want a teacher who is flexible in teaching and can get the teachings to me via email, text chat, voice chat,video conferencing or telephone as I'm too busy to take a face to face class. I have never before taken any Spanish language courses and would like to learn to speak and read proficiently so that I may open up new career options (several nonprofits that I am interested in prefer bilingual applicants). Learning a little culture along with the language would be appreciated as well, so that I can converse with native speakers comfortably and coherently. I would like to dedicate as much time as I can afford to my language lessons--I want to learn this as quickly as possible! In a teacher, I seek someone who is patient and encouraging, but who will push me to do better---I tend to be a visual person, so one-on-one work with additional texts will be appreciated. I also like to do some independant work, so any supplemental text recommendatio ns from a teacher are appreciated as well. I would like to place a high emphasis on proper grammar and conversationa l speech. Literature might also be appreciated.
