I would like to learn how to speak Spanish better. I will travel to Costa Rica in February. I have basic working knowledge of the language but I'm far from fluent. I have family in Costa Rica and I'd like to be better able to converse with them.

I used to be fluent after my two-month volunteership in Costa Rica in 1994. I began learning Spanish in middle school and it was one of my majors at University. I worked for the government in the late 90's as one of two Spanish speaking call center reps. Unfortunately and to my great sadness, foreign language is a skill and when I left Buffalo in 1996, I lost opportunities to continue practicing. My life and a job has brought me back to Buffalo. This new job is forcing me to bring my Spanish back up to fluency. I miss Spanish terribly and now have a boss to kick my butt to get it back, but I need help. Thank you.
