I have a sister who lives in Thailand and a Thai girlfriend who speaks english. I need to learn the language so I can talk to people I meet while in Thailand as I visit 1 to 2 times per year. I only know two words in Thai and it's time to get serious and learn the language.

My goal is to become fluent in Thai. I am doing this because I plan to work in Thailand in the near future. Fluency in Thai will allow me to make the best of my experience working and living in Thailand.'
I am a beginner. I have not learned to read or write yet, but also want to learn. I understand some sentence stucturing and some common words and phrases. I have taken about 4 months of conversationa l Thai.
I'd like to dedicate as much time as it takes to learn the language well enough so I can converse with any Thai speaker. This will allow me to find work in Thailand.
I am looking for a teacher who is helpful and will respond to an eager learner.
