I want to learn Thai because I had a dream of moving to Thailand and being on a beach in Phuket. I was getting paid to draw pictures of newlyweds as they passed by on their honeymoons.
I know absolutely no Thai. I used to work with a girl from Thailand. ...She used to make fun of me a lot.
Since I know nothing I think I need improvement in every area. I can only go one direction from here.
I will dedicate as much time as I can. Someone said I can do it if I really apply myself.
I really don't have any expectations about what qualities to look for in lessons or a teacher. Just please be patient and with an open mind because I am probably one of the more eccentric people you will ever meet.

I am currently taking in-person Thai language lessons with Khun Sang Phadungchob (whom I highly recommend!). I would consider myself in the beginner stage, and continue to have a lot of interest in becoming fluent in the Thai language and learn more about the Thai culture. My husband is from Thailand, and I look forward to visiting Bangkok every year.
