I would definitely be a beginner; the only upside is that I read and write Arabic script just fine. I would like to learn for career advancement and for other personal aspects as well. My interest is mostly in conversation, but really I would like to learn it all. As far as my time dedication I am willing to put in as much time as needed as long as it fits around my school and work schedule. The qualities I like in a foreign language teacher are patience and one who displays an actual like for what they do.

I am a beginner with a budding interest in learning new languages. I am most interested in Arabic and Farsi, but I would also like to look into Pashto and Urdu. I am interested in learning these purely for intellectual reasons, and I am looking for a native speaker with some experience teaching their language. I would like to learn to speak, read, and write.

My name is Amy and I'm a graduate student at the school of social work at UT. I would like to become conversationa lly fluent in Urdu.
I am wanting to meet either once or twice a week, probably in the evenings and possibly on the weekends.
