I am learning in order to conversation. I would like to learn more about the Urdu language and Desi culture. I would like to visit the region at some point. I can read and write at a beginners level but my goal is to become conversationa l. I would prefer 1-2 hours per sessions, and continue until I can hold conversations on a myriad of topics.

I want to learn how to read and write Urdu. I can speak the language fairly well as I speak the language with my parents who are from Pakistan. I now want to enhance my understanding of the language purely from a knowledge and social understanding aspect.
I am looking to develop at a fairly good pace with a view to at least two, possibly more hours, per week dependent on how I may progress.
I expect the teacher to have experience.

I'm just beginning to learn Urdu. I'm interested in learning because it sounds very beautiful and poetic. I also wish to live in Pakistan in the near future. I would like to mainly learn how to speak it, to communicate with people and read. But not as much as conversation. I would like a teacher that cares about teaching and is nice.
