Hello! I am a 25 year old girl who is planning on traveling to Macedonia in the spring of 2008, and would like to learn some conversationa l Macedonian. I am a beginner. I am a beginner. I am an author and college teacher. I have written and researched Bosnia, but would like very much to learn some of the language. I would need help with everything. But mostly I'm interested in conversationa l Bosnian. I would be able to do a two-week intensive (if I go to Chicago or MD) or could maybe do once a week for several months (if I went to MD). I would prefer immersion, though I realize this wouldn't probably be an option with an occasional class. I was a language teacher myself (ESL) and think it is the best option if possible.

I can understand and speak a little bosnian and I have a slight grasp of the grammer. I would like to learn the language to be able to communicate with my friends and their parents. I would like to mostly use this language for communication so that would be the focus of my learning. I would be able to dedicate one-two hours per lesson up to 5 days per week. However since I live on my own, I have a very limited budget. I would like a teacher who is helpful, talks with the student not at them, nice, and likes to have fun while learning.
