I am a beginner-leve l student looking to study Bosnian-Croat ian-Serbian this summer in Seattle. I've studied several langauges and I'm interested in language acquisition generally, but my primary reason for choosing this particular course of study is that I am engaged to a Bosnian. I will be working, so my schedule will be determined by my employment to some degree, but I hope to fit in 4 lessons a week.

Hello.
I want to learn the bosnian language, I am at the beginner level. I can speak and understand a little bit. The reason why I want to learn this language is because I want my daughter to learn it from me. I am very dedicated and motivated to learn and want spend as much time as needed to learn how to speak bosnian.
I am hoping to find a teacher that is patient and easy going. Also someone that will be able to teach me to speak very good and be able to have conversations with bosnian people!

I just returned from a summer trip to Bosnia and would like to return again next year for volunteer work. I may also work in the area professionall y sometime in the future. I did not speak any Bosnian at the beginning of the summer, but have picked up a few phrases and have learned some basic grammar. I would like to spend one or two evenings a week practicing with a native speaker-- preferably someone who can balance humor and business. I'm a good student and will put a lot of time into learning the language if a teacher helps me to motivate myself.
As a side note, I'm also a student at the university, so while I have some large gaps of time in the afternoon and some flexibility, I sometimes have unusual schedule commitments (tests, meetings, etc.).
