My parents are Gujurati and actually that was my first language. I am born and raised in Texas, USA, and when I started school, my parents pushed me to learn English and somehow I forgot my Gujurati. I am still able to understand most Gujurati easily, but have difficulty speaking myself. Most often I know the words to say, but can't manage to conjugate verbs and nouns appropriately to make a proper sentence.
I am now nearing engagement to my boyfriend, who is also Gujurati, and I want to be able to converse easily with his extended family and grandparents, who live here in the US.
I am currently a medical resident, so my time is limited, and my schedule will have to be flexible somewhat.

I am a beginner wanting to learn how to speak hindi and gujarati for fun. I know very little, and need to start from the very beginning with structure, grammar, converation, and vocabulary. I would like to dedicate 5 hours a week to learn the language. I would like to find a native Indian teacher who is able to communicate well in English and Hindi/Gujarat i. Thanks to all.
