Program Description

I was born, raised and lived in Seoul, the capital city of South Korea until I moved to the USA in 2008. To begin with, I have taught over 4000 lessons for Korean Language at Berlitz, Portland, OR in the USA and verbalplanet.com, verbling.com and CLC etc. I also work as a Korean Language Reviewer/QA tester on a part- time basis. Besides, I worked for Korean Online English Platform as an HR manager in charge of hiring online English instructors and orientation for Korean culture and LMS (Learning Management System for online education courses or training programs and conferences) for English instructors, coordinating between Korean online English language platforms and Korean students/representatives and online English instructors.
Before I moved to America I operated and managed my own International Business Seminars Company for 5 years in Korea. I offered Seminars to CEO’s of Foreign National Companies, Foreign Investors, Embassies, and Financial Institutes about “How to Successfully Do Business in Korea”,“Investment in Korea”, “Korean Labor Laws & Regulations” offering guidance on navigating Korea's unique business, social, cultural, and political landscapes, while also facilitating networking opportunities among relevant organizations. The majority of these seminars were conducted in English. An agency under the Korean government and the English-language daily paper organizations that served as my seminar business's key partners. Furthermore, I was fortunate to have numerous sponsors and supporters who enthusiastically championed and encouraged my efforts to plan and organize these seminars. In addition, as part of my specialized outsourcing services, my company provided education and training programs for corporate employees and organized various seminars. For joint venture firms I delivered a series of special lectures on "Self-Management within the Organization" as part of their employee training initiatives. The concluding segment of these seminars focused on "Korean Labor Law and Collective Bargaining Procedures: Regulations and Practical Case Studies." Throughout this series of HR seminars, I took the role of presider, helping participants and guest speakers ensure they did not overlook key facts or case studies discussed in other sessions. As every seminar met with an enthusiastic response and as I, in turn, gained widespread recognition and respect, executives from various regions across the globe, including Hong Kong, Germany, and India, eventually began attending the seminars.
Through my professional background spanning roles as a Korean language instructor, an HR manager as well as an agent for online language tutoring services, I have conclusively demonstrated my capability to execute projects with exceptional efficiency, even under tight deadlines. My keen insight into precisely identifying the market's "actual needs," coupled with my fluid communication skills, has served as the driving force behind my success, not only in the field of Korean language education but in all aspects of my seminar-related work as well.
