Teaching Approach

for the foreigner students, the most important thing is to catch their attention first, chinese is difficult language to learn for foreigners. for kids i will ask them to play games and act in drama to make sure they can keep attention always. for adults, usually i will give them the interesting conversitions first. to master a foreign language, cannot just teach grammar, they need to learn how to speak, from my experience, i think reject grammar is better than just teach from text book.
