Teaching Approach

I am a native qualified teacher of Spanish with a Degree in English literature and with more than 10 years of experience teaching students of all ages.

I have an approchable and patient attitude towards my students and prepare lessons individually according to each student needs. I am passionate about languages so my lessons are always enjoyable.

Spanish (mother tongue), English to Proficiency level (5 years), French to Advanced level (5 years) and experience of teaching English to Spanish children aged 4-5 years at CEIP Pau Romeva School for 1 year and at CEIP Arquitecte Gaudí School (two age groups taught, 5 years and 13 years ) for 1 year.

Additiona lly I have taught English to Spanish children aged between 7-13 and adults of 18-60 at a local Association (Barcelona) both in 1x1 teaching sessions and in groups for a period of 2 years.

Total teaching experience of 4 years.

Since moving to England at the end of September 2010, I registered as a Spanish teacher with a number of Language websites and have been teaching Spanish to English children and adults between the ages of 15-29 in 1x1 sessions, whilst awaiting my English CRB and applying for a number of Teaching positions.

Achieved Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in June 2010. General Teaching Council for England - Teaching DFES Number 1232681.

R eceived Spanish CRB certificate in November 2010.

Rece ived UK CRB certificate in January 2011.
