Teaching Approach

I customize my courses according to each student's preferences, needs and level, when it's one on one basis. I use the immersion method in my teaching, I've taught Portuguese to Chinese students who want to go abroad to Portuguese speaking countries or to businessmen who have clients who speaks Portuguese. I use several teaching books, especially Portugues Sem Fronteira and other online resources both for conversation and grammar.

I also use other multimedia materials (language and music CDs, DVDs) and other class activities to further improve student's speaking, listening and comprehension skills.

Teaching Experience

Taught Portuguese to Chinese businessmen or employees for over 2 years (using immersion teaching method), during the beginning of my career, I also taught Electrical theory course to graduate student in Taubate University.
