Program Description

When teaching I consider it crucially important for students to study not only the language, but also cultural differences, as well as perception of multi-cultura l environment. Globalization and integration mean that we live in an increasingly connected and interdependen t world in which all of us compete and cooperate with each other. In this fast-changing environment, educational institutions have a crucial role to play in actively preparing students to cooperate with representativ es of other nations for mutual learning and benefit though means of language. That is why for me it is particularly important to teach culturally competent communication to future decision makers and opinion formers.

Teaching Experience

My name is Olena Blag and I’ve been teaching languages to different age groups for more than 10 years now. I worked as academic teacher in Ukraine and international ly teaching foreign language integrated skills development to students aged 10-20, drafting, proof-reading and publishing reference materials for them.
