Teaching Experience
I began my on line practice as a Spanish teacher in January 2004, and enjoy teaching students from all over the world. About my methods, I focus on conversation classes but of course there is going to be a moment when we have to check grammar. I usually balance very carefully the grammar and the conversation skills, since I find them both important and complementary . I can't tell you my approach exactly because I design a program for each student according to his/her needs and his/her innate learning skills and needs. Motivation is an extremely important factor.

About Me
I am a professional in Economics, and in the past I worked for different phamaceutical houses, and taught economics in public and private universities. About four years ago I discovered my passion for teaching Spanish using high technology and began sharing this beautiful language with different people around the world. I challenged myself to obtain a Master of Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language (TSFL) and now I obtained my degree (May-2008). In some cases I host students in my home (Bogotá or Santa Marta City), as a full-immersio n program. In this way they come to my country and stay here to live the language in the middle of the culture and the customs. They can visit museums, enyoy our beach, our mountains, or whatever student likes. And I will share my hobbies of playing guitar, playing tennis, painting, scuba diving or yoga.
Santa Marta, is a beautiful city. Located in the bay with the same name, gives those who visit it a totally different aspect from that of the rest of the cities in the Colombian coast. You can made ecological tourism.
