Generally classes are composed of text, grammar. According to the student's level conversation becomes more important.

Two years working in Spain as a teacher prepared students for exchanges in Brazil, leisure travelers and executives in business travel. The proximity to the universe to be discovered by the students is the strategy used in classes (taught in English). The result also depends on the student's effort, willing to know more about the universe of Portuguese. In 2011 I started to give lessons to expats workers based in São Paulo, Brazil. In 2013 became english/spani sh teacher in Brazil, encouraging the use of foreign language in postcards, a way of communication forgotten by the digital generation. As teacher of SESI, organized a cultural trip to São Paulo with more about the Latin American identity.

The teaching schedule depends of the level of the students, motivation and the time they need to learn a new language. In general, my teaching schedule is very flexible with one hour class a week.
The payment policy is also flexible, negotiable.
In fact, what make me an effective teacher is because I am a brazilian, a portuguese native with lot of experiences in my mother tongue. Second, as a journalist I can give to my students a politic, economic and cultural view of my country understanding the country. As a portuguese speaker, Portugal is like the local the Brazil history had started.And with the history, I can help my student not only to learn a new language but catch more about the countries who speak portuguese.
