Teaching Approach

I value the use of context in learning, and adhere to a communicative approach in my classes. I feel all learners can learn, and they ought to learn things they can use in real-like settings. I offer plenty of practice and support, and are always raring to discuss with our learners and devise a plan that will best suit their needs.

Teaching Experience

I have been teaching Greek as a second language and Classics for 7 years.

Teacher Training

I was born in Greece and currently reside in Thessaloniki. After completing my undergraduate degree in Greek at the Aristotle University, I obtained an MA in Linguistics and undertook training in Teaching Greek as a Foreign Language (TGFL). I find teaching fascinating, and strive to demonstrate the wonders of the Greek culture. During the last two years, I have volunteered to teach teenagers and young adults at the Christian Refugee Camp of Agios Dimitrios and have pursued further studies in the History of Europe via distance learning. Distance education has made learning easy and I love taking full advantage of the options it offers in online teaching!
