There isn't a universal functional approach to teach something, everyone is unique in their own way, so as a teacher, I will observe and learn my students' necessities to work on them. I usually do this by connecting with people and let them connect with me. It's developing a relationship in another language and having fun doing it.

As a private teacher, I have developed my own material, so I have different guides for each kind of class. There is a difference between teaching someone who just wants to learn how to communicate, and someone who wants to know grammar more deeply. I am a grammar lover, but, spoken language is as much important as.

Teaching Experience

I have been working as a teacher (and translator) since my college graduation.
I started with private classes, where I became more experienced in grammar and solo explanations (if there is just 1 student you have a lot more time to work on them), after that I started teaching in a language school, becoming familiar with teaching groups, learning how to pursue students into cooperation, creating discussions between them and managing time (more students, less time on each.
I have been working as an online teacher since the beginning of the year and thanks to the internet, I was able to improve a lot of my content.

I am graduated in Translation and Interpretatio n in UNISANTOS and I am an English teacher volunteer in EDUCAFRO (a social project in Brazil focused on marginalized groups) where there are several programs about how to teach different ethnics, social-econom ic, and gender/sexual orientation groups.

It really depends, I already have some students who have schedule times, but as someone trying to pay for the bills, I am open to work even on weekends or holidays.
