    Teaching Approach

Ok, you want to speak Italian.

J ust before starting, ask yourself.. why?

    Scope matters.

I had been studying French for 5 or 6 years before living in Nantes. Yet, I wasn't able to have a 10 minutes conversation in French with nobody during the first days of my stay.

The same happened in Spain. In my early 20's, I spent 6 months in Malaga. I used to share an apartment with 3 Spanish flatmates and work in a fish restaurant facing the sunny and green coast of Torremolinos. Well, the first weeks were tough. As I knew just a few words as "Hola, que tal?", I struggled to be in whatever conversation and felt I cannot ever express myself as I wanted.

Then, in both cases, it happened.

At first, I started understanding and attach a few words to real images. So I used them for short conversations . And from there, a new world opened to me.

One year later, in Rome, I was walking to a concert and met a group of Spanish guys.
Well, to convince them that I was not from Cadiz (I made a lot of friends from that wonderful city), I had to talk to them in Pugliese, my own dialect :)

Why am I telling you this little story from my past?

    Let me tell you.

Whatever is your reason, if you start from scratch, it is tough to learn a new language just for passion.

H owever, if you start and go on this path, the learning could be extremely rewarding.
Being able to talk with other people in a different language is wonderful, magic.

But how can you do it without much effort? How to make the new language last?
How to make super powerful your learning?

You need to stick it to something else useful for you, to a personal aim.

This is a core concept from my teachers in college - I have a Master's Degree in Foreign Languages - and what I always try to transmit to my students.

For me then, it was the immediate need to talk with other people in foreign countries.

It's probably the same for you. You want to visit a new country and/or just know its language culture.

Depending on your needs, I will help you train your Italian for your business.

I can help you pass your exams and translating texts.

We will use Italian to talk about topics related to time management, productivity, non-fiction books.

If you are a student, a freelancer, or simply passionate about digital and innovation, we will talk about startups and digital marketing.

If you are passionate about the Italian country, we will talk about the best and less known places to visit, about some secret food receipts, about the most important writers and directors that crafted the shape of Italy all over the world.

In a few words, you will REALLY learn Italian without even noticing it!

And I hope you (and both of us) come out of our lessons with new inspirations, useful information, ideas.

See you on the other side!
