As an institute, we have hired a variety of teachers with a range of approaches, because we have found that one-approach- fits-all does not go. Each student is different, and suits a different teacher and a different programme and approach. One of our teachers does not use text-books, he really encourages the student to speak speak speak and in a uniquely efficient way he gets anybody to speak fluently very fast. Some other teachers concentrate more on grammar (in a fun way) which suits people who have a need to be speaking perfectly, faultlessly. In short, for every type of person, we have the right teacher and approach.

Program Description

We design for each student or group of students a specific programme, exactly according to their needs, existing abilities, and for instance, keeping in mind the way they remember language (auditive/vis ual, bookish, doish, etc).
The programme can also be geared towards taking one of the DELE examinations, preparing for a job interview, your teacher can help you write your CV in good Spanish and adjust it to a Latin market (CVs in Spain and Latin America need to be much more elaborate) and if you need to write a letter, bring it into the classes as practice material.

Teaching Experience

We have been teaching in La Paz for several years, but teaching online started just over a year ago. In this year, we have developed a very specific methodology to teach online. Please take up our offer of a first free class to try it out. The biggest advantage of our online classes is that you hear your teacher, see your teacher and see text written by your teacher, simultaneousl y (on your computer screen) with the text-book. It is very intensive and your progress is very fast. All our teachers are native speakers and hold a qualification in Spanish as a Second Language. All have at least 10 years teaching experience. They all speak English and some also German or French. Two teachers have a Economics background, one a international law degree, one is a Psychologist as well (want to combine psycho-therap y and learning Spanish...?)

Our institute is fully accredited, and we are in the process of being recognized by the Instituto Cervantes. We are already preparing students for the DELE examinations (from Instituto Cervantes) as well as SAT II Spanish. We could help you with other examinations as well.

You can take classes from 7AM to 23PM Bolivia time (GMT+4). That works out from 6AM till 22PM EST and 4AM till 20PM PacificST.
Y ou can book any number of hours of classes per week. You can book up to 24 hours beforehand or even shorter. Cancellation please at least 24 hours beforehand, so that we won´t charge you.
Payment can be to a US bank-account, a Dutch (euro-zone) bank-account or UK bank-account as well as through PayPal (internet credit-card payment). First class is always for free. If you bring in additional students, we credit you half an hour class for free, per student.
All materials are included in the price and are sent by e-mail (soon to be downloadable from our web-site ie-materiales ) including audio files.
Each client can indicate very precisely what he/she wants to learn, what type of matials they like to use and we make tailor the course accordingly.
Our students take on average 44.3 hours of classes online. This is a high average and you could consider this an indication of our quality.

Cost of Lessons

Lessons are USD15 per hour for the waged, USD11 per hour for unwaged (students, volunteers, 65+, unemployed)
5% reduction if booking 20 hours or more
