My approach to learning languages is the Communicative Approach. All activities proposed aim at communicating in the target language since the first lessons avoiding the use of mother tongue as much as possible. My focus is on a holistic model to understand the complexities of the language and be an autonomous learner as well, as the process of learning a language is a continuous one. I can plan very structured lessons with an introduction and a core composed of speaking, reading, writing (grammar) and listening According to the level and the age of the learner the teaching approach is very different.
H aving worked with a wide range of pupils (5 years old up to 18 and adults) I know how to be flexible and adapt to y pupils.
From nursery rhymes, stories, drawings, games, nature walks, cooking with young children
to work base on/around books, newspaper's articles and news, movies or traditional French exercises books.
