My approach with students is generally gradual. First I try to find out the reason that move them to learn a Language, than I try to prepare lesson considering his/her final goal. I am very patient and creative and both things are a strong point that make Learning process fun and relaxed. Furthermore I have a live interest for teaching Italian and it has that extra oomph! |

Being language a making-meanin g process I really think it is appropriate to trigger this mechanism in the student through exercises and conversation, so that he/her becomes able to link any written or spoken word to a precise meaning. Doing so I would enable the student to connect the meaning of the vocabulary they already know to the one they want to learn reducing to the minimum the effort of learning a new language. During the lessons I would also introduce a bit of the Italian culture in order to make the lesson more entertaining and enjoyable. |
