The main purpose of teaching is to provide the appropriate environment for the development of all the learning dexterities: reading and listening comprehension , writing and speaking ability.
The method mostly used is the Communicative one which allows the use of multiple communicative games and other activities. As a result the teaching becomes more direct and vivid and the learning process more pleasant for the students. Another advantage is that, in this way, the teacher prepares the students for the real-life communication needs, so as they will be able to respond on them properly and successfully. |

My approach with beginners is straight forward, they have to learn the basics so the fun can begin. I strongly advice more advanced students to take a keen interest in Greek culture as well as on going affairs such as cinema, sports, even gossip, it all helps.
